I coach my clients to reset their daily life patterns.  I develop with the clients a workout regime that includes an eating, and positive affirmation plan. The program reduces high blood pressure.  Lowers liver enzymes to normal rates.  It also increases moments of peace and serenity.  I tried the program, and all of these claims were proven true. It is time to tighten up especially if you are older and gained a significant amount of weight.  I lost 25 pounds in 40 days. I have a ton of energy and look like my playing days.  This program is no brainer contact me soon.

 I want to thank Coach Allen for letting me coach his middle school girls team.  They played so hard it was a joy watching them do their thing!

Mentors visit Lightning

 We had a blast we took our mentors to be to see a hockey game. Thanks to Elizabeth Frazier we were able to get enough tickets for everybody.  Many of the young adults have never attended a game so it was a treat.  Go Bolts, Go Projectuplift!

Fall/Winter Awards Picnic

 We held our annual awards picnic at Bayhead recreation center.  We gave away trophies, healthy food and liters of water to the three teams that competed this fall and winter.  Girls volleyball and boys and girls basketball teams.  The kids had a blast.  It was nice to see all the kids participating and getting along at the park.  I want to thank Kevin and Lisa from Chemed foundation for sponsoring this event.

LMS Boys Basketball 2021-22

Well I started this year with Covid, just before the girls volley tryouts, and I ended the year with Covid with the boys basketball team.  We had to cancel the last game.  We had a rebuilding year and the boys to their credit, in the second half of the season, played with intensity and purpose.  We will have a spring program in basketball and volleyball, along with a volleyball/basketball awards picnic.  My take on this years LMS boys basketball team, it was a great teacher in patience and for that I am grateful!

Lady Tigers

I contracted Covid so I had to delay Largo Middle Volleyball tryouts.  We could not get enough interest for a boys team but for certain that was not the same for the girls.  We must have had 30 or more little ladies trying their hearts out.   It was so hard cutting them but I always left them hope for next year or spring.  We ended up keeping 18, originally my thought was 12, but my assistant coaches, Coach Bim and Coach Christine persuaded me to keep more.  I learned so much from them, they are volleyball fanatics and I coached their son Max several years ago.  Now their daughter Sydney was a incoming 6th grader.  They asked if I needed help, I said "for sure".   We had one week of tryouts and had to play.  I held an extra long tryout to see as many ladies as possible, not good for the short term, but this year is a rebuilding year.  

We ended up losing every game but the final game of the season.   Despite losing we were getting better and by winning the last game it validated our progress.  We have a winter, spring, summer program established so it should be a lot better in the win loss column next year!

Clearwater Educational Boat Ride

 Last Monday we took the children on a educational boat ride to learn about nature in the Gulf.  It was very calming and fun.  We fed them afterwards.  We had a lot of extra food from Chick Fil-A so we decided to go to the bus station downtown Clearwater and feed the homeless!   Again thank you to Woodies Wash Shack(Donald Phillips) and Morgan Morgan(Scott Whitley) for sponsoring this event.  Merry Christmas to all and may 2021 be your best year yet!

Clearwater Aquarium

    

We had a blast checking out the new aquarium here in Clearwater.  We gathered at the school took the kids to the venue and feed them afterwards.  I hope the kids had a good time but for sure I did!  I highly recommend this place perfect for a family half day out!

Lightning strike 2019

Well, what can I say but thank you the Tampa Bay Lightning for acknowledging my vocation.  It was a great night for me, my family and my players.  Go Bolts! Go Project Uplift, Go Hashem!!!

What a year!  The team won 7 in a row to make it to the semi-finals for PCS.  They played there little hearts out.  We will be starting our spring travel team next week. Thanks to Lightning and Morgan and Morgan for all there support!  Go Tigers , Go Bolts , Go for the People!

Musings from a middle school basketball coach

We have 3 wins and 2 losses so far.  We had to let go of several players because they chose not make good decisions off the court.  Funny thing, as soon as we let them go we won several games in a row.  Weird how that works.   We have a playoff this year so we are still in the hunt.  We have a talented team if we keep getting better we might just make it to the promised land!  Well let the games continue and have a great 2019!

Charlie Bradley's Roundball Classic

We hosted CB Roundball Classic at University of Tampa to raise monies for teens basketball programs throughout Tampa.  Everybody had a blast!  We plan to do it again next year.

                                 International Night Soccer Tournament was a blast!

We just held our annual International Night Soccer Tournament.  The turn out was pretty good and a surprise team lead by two club soccer females won the tournament.  Each year we give out trophies and on the big one, the winning names are inscribed for the whole school to see in the trophy case.  The winning team name was quite unique this year it was, "Mmmm Chicken".   Let the games continue!

Well, we finished 5w and 5L this year.  We beat who we suppose to and gave the other teams a run for the money.  I will miss this crew.   For the most, they did what they were supposed to do on and off the court. We have started our travel basketball team.  We have a new element this year we decided to let two girls play on our team.  These girls can play !!!  Will fill you in as the season progresses.  Needless to say, the players must act accordingly in school in order to participate fully, goals 3.0 and no referrals.  Let the games continue!

Bucs Practice

 

We had a ton of fun at the Tampa Bay Bucs football Practice.  It was hot,  but free food and water went along way to make the event most enjoyable. The kids loved the Madden truck as well.  Thanks to the Grossi's for making this possible !
