Charlie Bradley's Roundball Classic

We hosted CB Roundball Classic at University of Tampa to raise monies for teens basketball programs throughout Tampa.  Everybody had a blast!  We plan to do it again next year.

                                 International Night Soccer Tournament was a blast!

We just held our annual International Night Soccer Tournament.  The turn out was pretty good and a surprise team lead by two club soccer females won the tournament.  Each year we give out trophies and on the big one, the winning names are inscribed for the whole school to see in the trophy case.  The winning team name was quite unique this year it was, "Mmmm Chicken".   Let the games continue!

Well, we finished 5w and 5L this year.  We beat who we suppose to and gave the other teams a run for the money.  I will miss this crew.   For the most, they did what they were supposed to do on and off the court. We have started our travel basketball team.  We have a new element this year we decided to let two girls play on our team.  These girls can play !!!  Will fill you in as the season progresses.  Needless to say, the players must act accordingly in school in order to participate fully, goals 3.0 and no referrals.  Let the games continue!

Bucs Practice

 

We had a ton of fun at the Tampa Bay Bucs football Practice.  It was hot,  but free food and water went along way to make the event most enjoyable. The kids loved the Madden truck as well.  Thanks to the Grossi's for making this possible !

Team Uplift 8 grade AAU Team ! We are are getting better !  A little growing pains but that is normal !  Everybody has to be on the same page !  That takes communication and remembering that in order to get to the next level you have to be a Team Player !!!

Life-Skills Basketball Camp 2017

Summer is almost here !  Praise the Lord ! Project Uplift has partnered with Largo Middle School and will hold our 4th annual LS Basketball Camp starting June 19-22 and 26-29. 3rd Annual LM Picnic !

End of year Picnic !  Healthy food and snacks along with plain old water was provided. It was hot so there was no complaining about the spring water instead pop !  It was for boys and girls volleyball and basketball teams from Largo Middle .  The boys basketball AAU program has started our first tournament is next weekend ! Will keep you posted !
